My media career started with an internship, a summer spent on the ad sales side of Nickelodeon and Premiere Radio Networks learning the ins and outs of media from the media partner side. My psychology background and interest in human behavior led me to the agency side. Couple this early experience with a knack for numbers and my media career was launched. I spent the early years of my career at Optimedia learning from some of the best - getting a deep dive into media strategy and negotiating tactics from colleagues I still consider mentors today. As a media planner I moved to a small independent agency where I gained valuable experience through the entire media process. From initial strategy and planning to negotiations, optimizations and analysis, with a little account service mixed in - at a small agency you get good at wearing many hats. I departed NEXTMedia after fifteen years on the team and serving as President for my last two years when it became clear that leading an agency while raising three amazing boys (and doing them both well) took more than a 24-hour day.
Now actively working on media consulting projects, I only take on assignments that can be managed while not upsetting the balance with family life. Shifting to a consulting role has allowed me the opportunity to help brands grow and achieve business and marketing goals by build impactful media campaigns while still making it to school pick-up, karate lessons, and soccer games.
I live in Dallas, TX with my husband and three boys. We are an active group and love being outside, playing board games and card games, traveling and hiking as a family.

I've negotiated media deals big and small from billboards in Time Square to local newspapers in small town Wisconsin, from Olympic schedules on national television to hyper-local digital foot-traffic campaigns, from prescriptive regional NFL coverage to local radio remotes and morning TV news segments. Having strong relationships with media providers across the industry allows for nimble and swift negotiation to get clients on air quickly.
Media Execution Experience:
Sometimes you just want an experienced set of eyes to review current media campaigns. When you are looking for advice on what's working, what's not, and where there could be improvements, I can be an impartial third party. Analysis services include media expert point of view on current or past strategy, plans and executions, efficiency analysis, media placement review, and performance analytics analysis and optimization.
